Driver hygiene guidelines
- Keep alcohol – based hand sanitizer for their own uses and available for use by their passenger
- Turn the A.C off and have windows open where appropriate, to stop air circulation.
- Maintain social distancing
- Use of good quality masks is compulsory all the time at work.
- Temperature checks prior to the start of each trip in the company.
- Frequently clean high touch surface in between trips such as door handles and internal handles.
- Employee standard cleaning methods at the end of each shift, as a part of good hygiene practice.
- Avoid hand shaking or physical contact with travellers.
- Drivers to self access before starting their shift.
- Karunadu cabs drivers may be required to self isolate for a period of 14 days when showing any flu- like symptoms.
- Avoid travelling to hotspots, containment zones and other prohibited places in the city.
Vehicle Sanitization
- Frequently clean high touch surface in between trips such as door handles and internal handles.
- All vehicles should be completely sanitized with disinfectant – prior start of each and every trip.
- Masks is a must for all employees and should be requested to wear the mask throughout the journey.
- Sanitisers should be made available all the time

Covid-19 hit us unexpectedly and it has evolved further with a significant challenge to health infrastructure affecting several countries.
Many governments across the world are taking strict measure to flatten the curve and WHO has declared this as pandemic.
There is a great sense of unease everywhere. This unease has spread to all sectors of our life.
First and foremost, I would like to thank you for fighting this virus bravely and get our company prepared to cope with the virus. We are resilient warriors. Over the course of business, we have faced many such hurdles which we have overcome, and this will be the best overcoming story so far.
We would like to remind you of the special responsibility that we hold in which we facilitate easy travel for our clients.
The safety of everyone involved with us is of utmost importance. We can only make positive contributions starting from our end.
We need to focus on getting sanitized cars with temperate checks for drivers along with the partition created between the driver and passengers to ensure complete safety for both the parties involved.
Also, we should not forget the frontline workers who have been toiling day in and day out with any single moment of rest.
While the virus threat is global, the situation in each and every country it is different as of now.
We, as a company will be taking all the necessary steps to help flatten the curve. We will be following all the guidelines issued by the supreme civic bodies.
